MY STORY
From a young age, I’ve been passionate about communications and the power of storytelling. It was clear my future would involve spreading awareness of people’s stories and their positive messages.
After earning my Public Relations diploma from Conestoga College, I worked in public relations and communications departments within the agricultural sector. This experience allowed me to hone my skills and share the stories of the hardworking individuals throughout the supply chain who ensure our food safely reaches our plates.
With over a decade of experience in this field, I took a bold step in 2019 to start a freelance communications career. It was rewarding to diversify my skills, writing for food production companies, the audio-visual industry, and even presenting in schools. In July 2020, I officially launched Kim Coyle Content Creation.
I believe in the importance of continuous learning and regularly expand my knowledge through workshops, webinars, and courses. I was also a dedicated member of the Eastern Canadian Farm Writers Federation for 11 years and served on their Board of Directors from 2015 to 2017.
On a more personal note, I am a dog lover who looks forward to weekly line dance lessons. I also enjoy listening to music (mostly country), baking, traveling and knitting. These hobbies bring balance and joy to my life, fueling my creativity and passion for storytelling.
